InfoAg 2016 and the 13th ICPA

This summer InfoAg will be held in conjunction with the 13th International Conference on Precision Agriculture. ICPA focuses on science and research in precision agriculture and is attended primarily by academics and scientists from all around the world. In holding both conferences together we hope to bring together both audiences to gain a new perspecive on precision agriculture. The concurrent programs provide opportunitites to learn more about what the other is doing: what works, what needs work, and what are some common problems and interests. The breaks, lunch, and reception during the overlap of the two conferences give everyone a chance to network and build new contacts.
The program for the week allows each conference to follow its traditional days and format. ICPA starts with a Sunday evening reception. It continues Monday with plenary and breakout sessions and features a poster presentation reception Monday evening. Tuesday morning ICPA continues with breakout sessions. Mid-morning Tuesday we have a joint plenary session with ICPA and InfoAg followed by lunch and the opening of the PrecisionAg Tech Center. Concurrent sessions for both ICPA and InfoAg run Tuesday afternoon with a reception in the exhibit hall that evening. Wednesday morning sessions for both conferences and then the ICPA closing session. Then its the rest of the InfoAg program with the PrecisionAg plenary session and luncheon. Wednesday afternoon features more InfoAg breakout sessions and Wednesday evening will feature the reception in the exhibit hall. Thursday morning breakfast closes down the exhibits, then concurrent sessions and the InfoAg closing plenary sessions wraps up the week at noon on Thursday.
In addition, we again offer the InfoAg full-day Monday tour and ICPA will offer a half-day tour on Wednesday afternoon. More about these coming soon.
Each conference will have its own registration. Attendees to either conference are able to attend any sessions Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. If you would like to attend all sessions, each conference offers an add-on registration for the other conference so you can attend all sessions Sunday through Thursday if you like.
Exhibits will be in the PrecisionAg Tech Center and will be run on the traditional InfoAg schedule: setup Monday, open Tuesday through Thursday noon.
