Consumers want to know more than just that their food is safe, but also that the air, soil, and water around farms are being protected to the greatest extent possible. Enterprise food producers, conservations groups, and consumers have coined this approach "sustainability".
For COOPs, farmers, and food producers, sustainability means more paper work, but that does not have to mean significantly more work. Come hear how technology can take the farming data you are already capturing and help reduce the load of sustainability capturing, verification, and filing.
Mr. Gretillat started his career in manufacturing and food processing, which gives him a rare perspective working with Enterprise companies for their technology needs. Growing up in rural Iowa, Lon has experienced the days of working on the farm when digital did not exist, and data management was a notepad. He is now able to bring technology to Enterprise food processing and Enterprise Ag to make life easier for both sides of the food chain. Lon was raised to be respectful of the land to make sure it is there for future generations. He is a lifelong Iowan, married with five daughters and three grandsons, and lives in Clear Lake, IA.
