Agriculture is not getting any easier. With many of the problems of the past still present, the constant stream of new technology results in a host of new issues (and confusion) for farmers. A lot of that new technology is focused on collecting more data, but organizing that data, sharing it, and extracting value from it can be difficult. In this crowded technology landscape, if farmers don’t quickly see the value, they will not engage. In this session, ag software experts Devon Liss and Elliott Marsh will review these issues and explore some of the ways these challenges are being resolved today to create value for farmers and their advisors within Trimble Ag Software.
Devon Liss has broad experience developing decision support solutions for agriculture. Today, Devon is a Product Manager in Trimble’s Agriculture Division and is focused on providing product development direction to provide value to both growers and their advisors. Devon has a Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Elliott Marsh has a diverse background in providing solutions for agriculture; including policy development, education, precision sales management and retail precision agronomy. Today, Elliott is a Regional Sales Manager in Trimble’s Agriculture Division and is focused on providing agricultural management solutions for farmers, ag retailers and crop advisors. Elliott holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Master of Agricultural Leadership from the University of Georgia.
