Kelly Gillespie
Kelly is a crop physiologist by training with a BA from Knox College in Galesburg, IL and a PhD from University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, IL. She has been with Monsanto and now Bayer for 10 years and has held various leadership positions in the Biotechnology and Breeding organizations. Currently, Kelly is a part of the Crop Technology Team where she leads the Corn & Soy Crop Efficiency Portfolio Strategy which includes managing the current portfolio across Breeding, Biotechnology, Editing and Biologics and developing the technical strategy for new business opportunities. External to Bayer, Kelly is a member of the American Society of Plant Biology, sits on the executive board of the North American Plant Phenotyping Network and the Advisory Board of the Iowa Soybean Research Council.
