Scott Manley is the Director of Conservation Programs for Ducks Unlimited (DU) in the Southern Regional Office, located in Jackson, MS. Scott joined Ducks Unlimited in 1998 and since then has developed many conservation partnerships including collaborations with the energy and agriculture sectors. One proud example is DU’s partnership with ConocoPhillips Company, the largest wetland owner in the U.S. Coastal resiliency efforts are very active across their 640,000 acres located in southeast Louisiana, ground zero for coastal land loss and subsidence. Also, a collaboration among DU, USA Rice, and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, brings together twenty additional supplychain sponsors to deliver Rice Stewardship, with the goal of conserving working ricelands, water, and wetland wildlife. Scott received his B.S. from Texas State University – San Marcos, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Mississippi State University.
