Kyle Miller leads the agriculture business development team at DroneDeploy, a cloud-based drone data platform that provides automated flight, real-time mapping, data processing and analysis. Kyle is a sixth-generation farmer who grew up on a corn and soybean farm in Iowa and has degrees in computer science and agribusiness. He has been researching remote sensing technology for more than 7 years and creating agriculture drone maps since 2013. Since building his first UAV 4 years ago, Kyle has used historical yield and drone data to understand crop health and create prescription maps to manage his farm.
Michael Ritter (speaker)
CEO & Co-Founder
Michael is currently the CEO and co-founder of SLANTRANGE, Inc., which provides new layers of crop health information to farmers and agronomists with its airborne remote sensing systems and analytics tools. Since 1996, Mike has been developing airborne intelligence systems for applications in the earth sciences, defense, and agronomy fields. As the Director of Electro-Optic Systems and Manager of Mission Systems at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, he oversaw the development of intelligence payloads for a number of unmanned military aircraft including the Predator, Reaper, Gray Eagle, and Avenger drones. Mike has a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from Georgetown University.
